Writing and maintaining a blog is tough work, which gets even tougher when you find that someone else is stealing your content. Most bloggers ignore content theft because they feel that their own original work will get higher rankings than the site hosting the stolen content.
However, in many cases, it has been found that the site scraping content from a blog ranks higher than the blog where the original content was posted. On the other hand, even if the plagiarist’s site does not feature higher than your own on SERPs, you are still losing a lot of keyword search directed traffic that would otherwise have come to your blog.
Therefore, taking immediate steps as soon as you notice that someone is scraping your blog’s content is the way to go.
Some of the main ways by which you can stop your content stealer are:
File A Report With Blogger.Com: If the blog that is stealing your content is hosted by Blogspot/Blogger, then filing a complaint report with the site can get the offending blog deleted.
File A Complaint With Google: If you file a report using Google Webmaster Tools, then you can get the scraping website removed from Google’s search engine results pages. However, you might need to follow this up closely in order to see results.
Complain To The Site Or Blog’s Hosting Service: If the blog scraping your content is not on Blogspot, then you should contact the blog’s hosting or domain service providers and complain about the copying. If it is a reputable company, it will suspend the blog within a couple of days.
Request the DMCA: While submitting a request to the DMCA will not get the offending blog removed, it can help in getting content stolen from your blog removed from the scraping blog.
If in spite of all this, you still cannot get the copying blog blocked and your content keeps on getting stolen and scraped, then come back tomorrow for more tips on dealing with content scrapers.

Thanks chakkravarthi for your views. If you know of some one who keeps playing with your content without giving you the credit you need to go ahead and take action. You can first sent him an email requesting to give you credit. If he is not ready to mention your name ask him to bring down your content from his website. If he does not agree to both, Well it’s time for the ACTION
