We all do mistakes. However the person who overcomes them is the real survivor. As a Blogger I am sure most of you must have across different challenges and celebrations. Most of the bloggers have managed to survive the growing test of time while others have faltered. Bloggers who have faced the test of time have gone on to become full time bloggers.
Let us today make a note of all the lessons we have learnt from our blogs. What we could have done better all through our blogging years. What if someone would have guided us and told us all the mistakes we did in our early days. Something we could have done better and rectified right from the beginning of our blogging journey.
I have done a lot of research as to what mistakes a lot of pro bloggers did in their early days. Here are lists of top blogging lessons that can help all our young bloggers out there in creating, marketing and monetizing their blogs.
1 With Hard Work I succeed
Hard work is a key to the success of any business. If you work hard there is no reason why you can’t be successful. To be a successful Blogger you need to work hard. I have often heard people saying you need lot of luck to be successful. However to me HARD WORK is the key. Remember the Harder you work, the luckier you will be. So the bottom line is, it’s you who can make and break your own luck.
2. Patience and Blogging Go hand in Hand
Patience is so very crucial while blogging. You might do all the hard work but what if you do not have the patience to overcome the test of time. Do not have the attitude that you need to start earning money from your blog from the very first month. What if you don’t? Will you stop blogging? I know many people who have failed to succeed just because they were impatient and in Hurry to see a rapid growth in their blogging income.
Do not do the mistake which others have done. You might be earning just about $5-$10 from your adsense today. However if you have the necessary patience there is no reason why you can’t earn more. Consider Blogging as a powerful force which will take you places in the longer run. Your blogs are your investment that will help you make money in the long run.
3. Analyze your mistakes
Let’s say you’re doing the hard work and have waited patiently for months to see your blogging success. Let’s say you have not got the success you deserved. If you fall in this category you need to sit down and make a list of all your blogging mistakes. What is it that is not working for my blog? Why am I not able to see results like my competitors? What is that my readers don’t find interesting in my blog? Is my blog easily accessible? Do my readers have difficulties in understanding my blog? Are my blog topics too general? (You can check my blog on creating blog post titles that can help attention of your readers). You need to make a note of all your mistakes and find solutions to rectify them.
4. Blog like No Other
You need to find a way to differentiate yourself from your bloggers. If you just perform a Google Search you will be astonished to know the number of bloggers sharing the same interests as yours and running similar blogs. Do you have it in you to stand out from the crowd and provide value to your blog readers. You need to find answers to keep your readers hooked to your blog. You need to find ways to keep your blog readers well informed, entertained and educated.
You need to Blog like No Other in Your Business.
5. Niche Blogging
I am a very strong believer in the concept of Niche Blogging. Many Young bloggers have ignored the importance of niche blogging.
Many people might consider starting a blog about their different interests. Yes it’s good in a way as you have to monetize just one blog. Everything you write goes under one roof. However the problem here is will you be able to have loyal readers for your blog on a long term basis. I am afraid to say but the answer is No. Readers often like to be part of a blogging community that specifically speak about their niches. If you have a blog sharing your interests about photography, travel and games. I am afraid to say but your readers will be lost. They will feel frustrated to read other thing which does not interest them. To save your readers from the frustration and fear of losing them it would advisable if you target a niche and speak about it in detail.
I hope you find all the above blogging lesson tips useful. I will elaborate more in detail about this topic tomorrow. Do come back tomorrow for more lessons on blogging mistakes you can avoid.
