Laziness also strikes bloggers. Some bloggers sometimes make blogs which are hastily written and not well-edited. The reason cannot be blamed on their ability but on the way they take blogging for granted. Here are some simple steps for you to eliminate laziness.

Bloggers do not merely write texts while doing their activity. They also include videos and audios in their output in the blog contents. New bloggers often create artistic and interesting blogs that everyone can enjoy. They come from different backgrounds and have their own unique writing skills. But as the number of bloggers continues to grow and topics are becoming more limited, bloggers are often disenfranchised to write and post more.

Also, other bloggers are disempowered to write and post their blogs because of the growing competition online. Some bloggers see themselves as incompetent when compared with other famous and established bloggers. Thus, they avoid and become lazier in writing topics they used to write about.

Moreover, other bloggers become too much confident of their blog when they reach their focal point and comfort zones. They do not strive to do better blogs. They do not even edit their posts that they make online. Thus, it can make their blogs unappreciated by its readers and other bloggers. And it is also detrimental when the target audiences of blogs will not appreciate blogging as a whole due to the laziness of some bloggers. Becoming lazy in doing this activity diminishes the zeal for creating blog content of good quality.

In response to the concerns above, here are 10 tips for you to avoid being lazy and keep writing blog posts again:

  • First and the most efficient way to still maintain the quality of your blog is to enjoy writing. Preparing yourself to write while enjoying it will motivate you to write more. Note that blogging is not just about writing, but it is also an activity which you like to do.
  • Second, you have to make a writing realistic writing schedule and goal. Schedules will help you to finish your blog within your time limits. Also, you can limit the words you type everyday to write contents in a more concise manner.
  • Rewarding yourself every time you accomplish your goal and schedule will be the third step to encourage you to write more. Rewards make writing more interesting.
  • Fourth, you have to train yourself to regularly edit your blogs. Editing your own blog is hard but creating a room where you practice editing will be helpful in terms of making a good output.
  • Making short sentences and more visually appealing blogs would entice you to write and read more of your own work. This fifth step allows you to enjoy more of what you read and write.
  • Creating shorter paragraphs would be the sixth tip. It will allow you to edit it more accurately and easily.
  • Seventh, do not be contended with the current content of your blog. Exploring more of new concepts will help you improve your blogs.
  • Eight, do not be afraid to use the delete key if it is for the benefit of your blog. Deleting and creating better ideas are both time-consuming. Just note that your output justifies all your effort.
  • If you feel like you are tired of always writing, reading aloud while writing will make you feel more of what you are doing.
  • Lastly, good writers sometimes make visual impressions of what they are writing. And the best picture comes out when their lips are following with what they write. This enables them to look at how others will eventually think of what you write.

Writing in blogs requires you to invest not only your time and effort. Just always remember that what matters most is the satisfaction that you get from creating your blog.

I think the first tip is key. Enjoy what you are doing and most everything else will fall into place. You’ll want to consistently improve your blog because you enjoy expanding it and learning new things about your niche. I tend to just set myself a goal of how many posts I want to publish by the end of the week instead of a set schedule. That’s because I need a flexible schedule to gt other things done. Also I’m also under less pressure to write at a set time.

A few months ago I submitted myself to a “Blog Post A Day Challenge.” I’m not gonna lie, it was a little tough. But it was a good exercise in writing! Lessons learned:

- Have one main point and deliver it,
- Write as if you’re speaking to a friend,
- Brevity counts

I don’t always stick to a regimented schedule. But I try and post 1-3 times per week. I certainly have a lot of drafts (I think a lot and don’t always publish, but hey, that’s ok too).

Amazing, because i have felt like that while writing on my blog. But i don’t take writing for granted, i mean i write things that are strictly based on my experience. And frankly, many a times i feel lazy. Its not actually a big deal because its just an influence of other factors or you know daily events. But i try not to let it affect the writing.
